Glaum Egg Ranch is a third generation operation committed to humane, sustainable and environmentally sound family farming practices in California. This 28 acre ranch is located in the foothills of Santa Cruz surrounded by organic fields and naturally cooled by the ocean breezes off the Monterey Bay. They are a 100% cage-free farm so the chickens can roam free at any time. Their chickens are fed a vegetarian and natural organic diet that does not contain any animal proteins and, of course, no hormones or antibiotics.    Glaum was the first egg ranch in California to be certified humane by Humane Family Animal Care and their organic eggs are certified by the USDA National Organic Program. They are also members of the Community Alliance with Family Farmers who advocate for California family farmers and sustainable agriculture.
